DRAINAGE TECHNICIAN

We are currently looking for an experienced drainage technician, or someone that is willing to learn. Daily tasks include drain cleaning, camera inspections, and drainage repairs. Would be beneficial to have experience in drain cleaning with an augur, and drainage camera for inspections. Also, would be bonus if you have experience in service plumbing with faucets, toilets, plumbing skills and writing invoices. Most work is outside and dealing with perimeter drainage repairs, and restoration. Looking for a hard-working individual to join our team. Will pay more per hour for experienced employees. Both medical and dental will be considered for long term employees. Very busy company, guaranteed full time work. Will pay top dollar for experienced applicants.

BASIC PURPOSE

As Site Drainage Technician, you play an important role for Watts Plumbing and Drains Inc. Reporting directly to the Principal Owner, you act in the best interest of Watts Plumbing and Drains Inc. when addressing client concerns. You hold a high level of professionalism, and conduct yourself in a respectful and courteous manner, always.

WORK CONDITIONS

- Physically challenging and demanding




- Frequently stand, walk, or crouch on narrow and/or slippery surfaces
- Walk on sloped and/or uneven surfaces
- Required to endure periods of standing or walking and extended periods of bending, stooping, and lifting
- Work in various weather conditions for extended periods

Safety Tools and Equipment Requirements

- Use of appropriate safety equipment on site i.e., earplugs, safety glasses and steel toed boots, etc. is mandatory
- Follow WorkSafeBC guidelines

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Must be physically fit
- Possess a common-sense approach to troubleshooting and interacting in a service-oriented work environment
- Understand the use and value of problem solving
- Must possess and exercise effective and respectful communication skills with clients
- Possess solid work ethics
- Have driving skills and construction experience
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clear driver’s abstract
- Willingness to learn recent skills and take on new challenges to develop within our company

Job Location: Victoria BC

Annually Salary range: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00
