Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expertise in flooring products. Your role will involve assisting customers in selecting the right flooring options for their needs and ensuring a smooth sales process from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate flooring options based on their preferences, budget, and requirements
- Provide product information, answer questions, and address any concerns or issues
- Measure and estimate the amount of flooring materials needed for each project
- Collaborate with customers to create customized flooring designs and layouts
- Maintain a clean and organized department
- Process special orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to generate repeat business and referrals
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and advancements in flooring technology

Experience:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the flooring industry




- Strong knowledge of different types of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, carpet, and tile
- Excellent communication skills in English (multilingual skills are a plus)
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with clients
- Proficient in basic math calculations for measurements and estimates

Location:
This position is based in Gananoque.
