Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash, credit, and digital payments
- Handle cash handling procedures with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers
- Conduct product demos when necessary to showcase features and benefits to customers
- Upsell complementary products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and visually appealing
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions about products, promotions, or store policies




- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to minimize wait times and enhance customer satisfaction

Requirements

- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn new technology tools
- Organizational skills to keep checkout areas tidy and stocked throughout shifts
