The ministry is seeking Crown Prosecutors to help deliver justice through fair, effective, and ethical prosecutions. Under the direction of a Regional Crown Prosecutor and Public Prosecutions Head Office, responsibilities include conducting criminal, quasi-criminal, and regulatory prosecutions in the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan and the Court of Kings Bench, managing docket court matters, trials, and summary conviction appeals, providing legal opinions, reviewing police reports, advising police, meeting with victims and witnesses, and supporting legal education initiatives related to criminal law, ethics, and the justice system.

Prosecutions also promotes safe communities through the just conclusion of criminal charges, including the use of alternative resolutions where appropriate. #
