Custody, Supervision and Rehabilitation Services is seeking a motivated, innovative, and client-focused Deputy Director, Health Standards to join the Health Services team.

They will provide leadership to provincial health care service teams, support operational partners, build effective relationships with stakeholders, foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture,
and lead health service improvements within a complex correctional setting.
Candidates should possess extensive knowledge of correctional and primary health care services, public health principles, health care regulations, clinical documentation standards, and the roles of NPs, RPNs, RNs, and LPNs.
Experience managing multidisciplinary health teams, implementing change initiatives, using data and performance metrics, working with electronic medical records, and engaging internal and external partners is essential. Strong communication, leadership, analytical, facilitation, and stakeholder relations skills are required.
Duties include leading and supporting provincial health care service delivery, conducting research and jurisdictional scans, analyzing trends and program outcomes, reviewing health service complaints and appeals, consulting with stakeholders, developing and delivering training and orientation sessions, facilitating information sharing, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
