Reinsurance Operations Technician/Account Analyst 18-month Contract (Full time) Acrisure Re is an independent global reinsurance broker with a reputation for placing reinsurance programs covering complex and technical books of business. The primary mandate of the Account Analyst is to support Acrisure Re’s global branches in post placement activities on insurance and reinsurance accounts in multiple classes of business.

The position includes analysis of contracts for system entry, detailed analysis of reporting, and invoicing, in addition to handling premium and quota share claims matters in both current and run-off areas of Acrisure Re business. In addition, special projects may be assigned.

The Account

Analyst will assure delivery of strong servicing of clients’ accounts from an accounting, collection and claim perspective. Possess strong working knowledge of both facultative and treaty fields and have a well-rounded understanding of multiple lines of business, such as, but not limited to, property, energy, casualty, specialty casualty, automobile, marine and accident and health. A minimum of 3 years of insurance/reinsurance accounting/claims experience.

Excellent computer and technical skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel) with advanced Excel mastery particularly in the areas of formula and database structuring.



Working knowledge of intermediate to advanced statistical analysis.

A general willingness to be flexible in work habits and assigned tasks.

Customer Centered: Strive to attain a continual standard of 100% internal and external customer satisfaction in all areas. Inaccuracies and omissions lead to Errors and Omissions and potential claims against the Company with resultant higher premiums or declined coverage the following year. In addition, the Company is subject to a variety of international licensing requirements.

Failure to comply with these high standards could possibly cause the Company to be disqualified as a licensed broker. Losing licensed status would significantly reduce the number of clients the Company could conduct business with and limit the number of markets we could use. Accordingly, the Account Analyst must take the utmost care to ensure work is complete, accurate and performed in a timely manner.

The challenge is to satisfy these interests on a day-to-day basis while meeting the goals and objective of the company. Business placed by Acrisure Re is generally of a complex nature and requires a high degree of technical knowledge and commitment to identify problems and establish creative solutions. Although the Account Analyst will have guidance and training, they are expected to actively increase his or her own knowledge by asking questions, reading, and studying.
