Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its Finance & Accounting team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent prospect for a well‑rounded accounting professional who enjoys a hands‑on role within a manufacturing/operational environment and has the ability and ambition to take on greater responsibility over time. The successful candidate will have approximately 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong general accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, ERP/accounting systems experience, and exposure to payroll.

Manage day-to-day accounting activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and bank transactions . Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments and accounting adjustments. Perform bank, credit card and general ledger reconciliations.

Review GL accounts and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions. Assist with financial and variance analysis . Provide supporting documentation for audits and other financial reporting requirements.

Support payroll activities, including payroll inputs, reconciliations, reporting and discrepancy resolution. Work collaboratively with Finance and other departments across the organization. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field .

Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience .

Accounts

Payable / Accounts Receivable General Ledger Reconciliations Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger processes.



Hands‑on experience with an ERP/accounting system .

Advanced Microsoft

Excel skills , including formulas, PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and data analysis. Some practical payroll experience/exposure . Accounting experience within manufacturing , distribution, logistics or another operational/product‑based organization.

Experience working within a multi‑entity or multi‑company accounting environment .

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, AX 2009 and/or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O;) .

Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online .

Experience supporting payroll within a mixed salaried/hourly workforce; exposure to piece‑work payroll is an asset. Professional accounting designation or progress toward a designation such as CPA is considered an asset.
