Responsibilities

- Manage accounts payable
- Manage accounts receivable
- Bank Reconciliations
- GST/QST preparation and filing
- Manage the month-end accounting cycle and the preparation of financial statements
- Perform revisions of accounts and balance sheet items for year-end audit
- Participate in the improvement of existing procedures and processes




- Raise problems to the financial controller and suggest solutions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial standards, and government rules/regulations
- Perform account reconciliation of G/L accounts
- Perform Ad hoc requests

Qualifications

- 5-7 years of experience in an accounting department
- BAC in Accounting or Commerce
- ERP system
- Detail-oriented
- Team Player
- Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, especially MS Excel
- Perfectly bilingual (French an absolute must)
