As a Real Estate Advisor, you help prospect for, solicit and build lasting business relationships with members and clients. You help sell products and services and provide services that meet clients’ needs in accordance with current strategies and practices. This includes services related to home renovations.

You help build and maintain business relationships with members and clients in your sector. You drive results by handling complex requests regarding specialized business programs, tools and solutions and providing advisory support. You ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality in accordance with the organization’s standards and procedures.

You play an advisory role, assist current and potential clients, represent the organization and provide upstream support for clients doing complex renovations (e.g., building an addition with plans, renovating a heritage home). Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to:

- Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential needs and supporting client retention.
- Advise members and clients on larger and more complex renovation projects and handle requests, read plans, select contractors, analyze issues, research solutions and make recommendations.
- Act as a facilitator for partners (architects, tradespeople, engineers, etc.) throughout the process.
- Make overall observations, identify gaps and opportunities and make appropriate recommendations regarding selected contractors and quotes.
- Assist members and clients, be attentive to their needs and propose personalized solutions.




- Help identify operational risks and opportunities for continuous improvement in your unit’s operations.
- Monitor the market to stay on top of the latest trends, opportunities and best practices in your field.
- Act as a resource person for Desjardins during media events.

- College diploma in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
