Enhance students' musical skills as an After School Music Instructor for Upper Canada District School Board. Provide impactful instruction on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:20 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. This position focuses on Intermediate and Senior Instrumental Music or Vocal courses.

As part of the Continuing Education program, this role involves a commitment of 110 hours, with courses running outside of holiday and PA days. Qualified candidates will hold a valid OCT and will teach credit courses to enhance students’ learning experiences. Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Intermediate/Senior Instrumental Music and Vocal courses
- Manage classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Deliver engaging content to engage young musicians
- Maintain a protected and inclusive learning environment
- Document student progress and support growth

Requirements:

- Valid Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) certification
- Qualifications in Intermediate/Senior Instrumental Music or Vocal
- Commitment to equitable education
- Responsive to diverse student needs
- Willingness to adapt teaching strategies
