The Upper Canada District School
Board is seeking a qualified instructor for its After School program, scheduled for 110 hours over the school year. Applicants must hold a valid Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) designation and possess specific qualifications in Senior Visual Arts. This term-specific role adheres to UCDSB's commitment to equity and inclusive practices in education. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Senior Visual Arts to students after school hours
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards
- Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom workplace
- Communicate effectively with students and parents
- Complete program requirements and evaluations as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) designation
- Qualifications in Senior Visual Arts education
- Commitment to diversity and inclusivity in teaching
- Experience in lesson planning and classroom management
- Ability to work within a term-specific contract
