About the Role

Our client is seeking an eager and meticulous Agricultural Research Assistant to support their research initiatives in Kimberley . This role is fundamental in assisting scientists and researchers with experimental trials, data collection, and analysis within a variety of agricultural projects. You will gain valuable hands-on experience in scientific methodologies applied to crop improvement, soil science, and sustainable farming practices. Key Responsibilities

- Assist researchers in setting up, conducting, and monitoring agricultural field and laboratory experiments.
- Collect, record, and manage experimental data accurately, adhering to strict protocols.
- Prepare experimental materials, including seeds, soil samples, and chemical solutions.
- Perform routine field tasks such as planting, watering, pest control, and harvesting for research plots.
- Conduct basic laboratory analyses,

- Maintain research equipment and ensure the proper functioning of laboratory and field facilities.

Requirements

- A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Science, or a related scientific discipline.

- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
