Application Engineering Specialist II Working as part of the Inside Sales Team and reporting to the Application Engineering Manager the Applications Engineering Specialist II will work collaboratively with their team to review customer requirements technical specifications prepare quotations and ensure that customer needs are met As a Application Engineering Specialist II you will Determine and document the technical and commercial requirements of the customers applicationInterpret engineering specifications and select G&W; equipment to meet customer requirementsPrepare product quotations and bids for engineered packagesOngoing communication with customers and suppliers to address technicalcommercial inquiriesProviding technical support and expertise for our outside sales force consultants and customersWork with cross functional teams on various projectsInterface with Engineering and Product Management teams on product design capability inquiriesOther responsibilities as assigned by supervisorExcellent communication and mentoring skills Fully and accurately determine the technical and commercial requirements of the applicationSelect the appropriate G&W; product to meet these requirementsDevelop accurate cost models for both standard and custom equipmentDetermine price levels and lead timesCommunicate requirements to G&Ws; internal teams for engineering and manufacturingPartner with Sales Team to develop and present customer sales strategiesPartner with customers and our Engineering team to develop custom solutions that satisfies the applicationManage the commercial and technical aspects of the customerBuild and maintain strong relationships with our internal resources and Sales TeamProvide timely and effective verbal and written communication to our internal resources and Sales Team We are looking for someone who Bachelors degree in engineering with a preference for Electrical Mechanical specialization 3 to 5 Years of experience in an application engineering inside sales or related areas preferably in industrialmanufacturing settingsSwitchgear design experience would be considered an assetDemonstrated proficiency in the full Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with JDE and Salesforce software is an assetProven experience interacting with customers preparing quotations selecting equipment or related dutiesIs client centric;
