We are currently looking for dedicated Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentices who will be responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of a variety of Caterpillar products in a service oriented environment. This position is based out of our Fort McKay Shop facility and will work a 14x14 continuous shift rotation.

If you are a safety conscious team player, self-motivated, autonomous, detail-oriented and looking to complete your Heavy Equipment Technician certification then you are exactly who we are looking for! Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes) Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team Engage in other related duties as needed to support team objectives and customer commitments Willing to work towards Heavy Equipment Technician Certification Successfully meet Finning’s educational and testing prerequisites.

Previous





Caterpillar mining equipment experience and basic computer skills Mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of heavy equipment parts and repairs.
