Through these efforts, we aim to make snowboarding and the outdoors accessible to all. Burton is looking for a Seasonal Area Manager to represent Burton and Anon across Alberta for the 2026/27 winter season. Reporting to the Area Manager for Alberta & BC, this is a highly autonomous, field-based role focused on events, brand activations, retailer engagement, and building excitement around Burton and Anon throughout the Alberta snowboard community.
Plan, coordinate, and execute consumer and retailer events, demos, activations, and community initiatives across Alberta. Manage event logistics including planning, scheduling, transportation, setup, execution, and breakdown. Identify recent opportunities to activate the brands within Alberta’s snowboard community.
Develop relationships with key resort partners, with a particular focus on Anon business development. Provide regular updates on events, accounts, market activity, and opportunities. Manage transportation and logistics for events, tradeshows, product, and field equipment.
Be comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including driving, lifting, loading, unloading, and setup.
Experience in events, retail, sales, marketing, brand activations, or the outdoor industry. Strong communication and public-speaking skills. Strong relationship-building skills and a natural ability to connect with people.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout Alberta. Comfortable with hands-on event work and physical setup. Enjoy being on the road and working in the field. Are equally comfortable talking product with a retailer, riding with consumers, or loading a truck at the end of the night.
Flexible, part-time schedule with a high level of autonomy. Work at the heart of Alberta’s snowboard community through events, demos, and activations. Build a strong network across the retail, resort, and snowboard industries.
