As an ASIC development engineer in the Microchip Data Center Solutions group, you will get hands‑on experience developing our next generation of storage and memory controller SOC products.





Throughout you will work beside experienced engineers and be exposed to Microchip’s Best‑In‑Class engineering practices. As an ASIC Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, verification, emulation, and/or validation of digital integrated circuits at the block level, top level, and/or solution level. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering ~2+ years of relevant industry experience or a Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering ~ Strong programming/scripting skills, i.e., C++, Python ~ Experience with Verilog and/or VHDL is an asset ~ Experience with the ASIC design and/or verification flow is an asset ~ Experience with PCIe protocols is an asset Travel Time: 0% - 25% It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments.
