Previous experience in leading banquet and large volume kitchens or line cooking A love for the outdoors and living in the Rocky Mountains Asset if certification is issued by one of the following five Canadian organizations: Canadian Red Cross, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lifesaving Society,
St John's Ambulance and/or Canadian Ski Patrol Food Safe Certification (or willing to obtain) Alberta Class 5 drivers license (or Canadian equivalent) and no more than 3 demerits Reporting to the Executive Chef (manager), the Assistant Chef are responsible for: Ensuring consistent high quality of meals and food service systems Strong communication and working relationships with program, asset and admin staff at CCH Planning meals that are appealing to participants and minimize waste Ordering food and supplies Supervision, coaching and supporting 2-15 staff, depending on the season and operational volume What qualities do we look for in YMCA Calgary Staff and Volunteers?
