Reporting to the Finance Partner, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the firm's financial information while helping drive efficiency and supporting the growth of the accounting function.
Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis Maintaining and reviewing general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Supporting payroll, government remittances, and other compliance requirements Monitoring and improving accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Supporting accounting systems administration and future technology initiatives Acting as a resource and subject matter expert on internal accounting processes, systems, and reporting activities Participating in special projects and other accounting initiatives as required CPA designation or actively working towards completion ~3-5 years of internal accounting experience, preferably in a professional services environment ~ Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and internal controls ~ Proficient in QuickBooks Online and related APIs for full-cycle accounting ~ Experience with Power BI or similar financial reporting tools ~ Advanced proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ~ Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for innovation and efficiency, including a desire to understand and utilize AI tools
