Reporting to the Regional General Manager, the Assistant General Manager is a true hospitality professional at heart with a strong background in venue operations. They are passionate about creating positive shareable experiences for guests and team members alike and thrive working late nights and weekends. They are fun, energetic and know how to throw a party!

They will be responsible for creating positive shareable experiences for guests at Dublin Calling Adelaide (Toronto), and other MRG-owned businesses, as well as drive business through community outreach. Deliver excellent customer service to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and repeat business. Host and execute events and parties, ensuring a vibrant, high-energy environment and positive, shareable experiences for guests.

Collaborate with the sales team to fulfill service expectations for special events, including managing food service, staffing levels, and room set-up.



Operations & Financial Management Maintain top-notch service, safety, and cleanliness standards throughout the venue to achieve operational excellence. Oversee and strategize ways to improve financial performance while strictly adhering to brand standards.

Maintain flexible availability to work weekends, holidays, late nights, and early morning shifts as required by venue operations. Take ownership of staff training and development to ensure continuous growth and alignment with brand standards.

Valid Smart Serve

Certificate required Experience in Hospitality / Food and Beverage required A proven track record of hiring, training and developing engaging team members.

Experience using software systems including Square & OpenTable (training provided) Experience leading a team with the ability to coach, delegate and support Evening, weekend, and holiday availability Extended vacation package as standard. Participation in the MRG Travel Ambassador Program. Guestlist access to our concerts/shows and discounts at our hospitality venues across Canada.
