Aquent is partnering with a leading Canadian retailer undergoing an exciting AI transformation across its ecommerce product content ecosystem. We’re looking for an organized, curious, and proactive Associate Product Manager to support AI-driven initiatives that are changing how product content is created, reviewed, and published. This contract role offers the opportunity to work alongside Product, Engineering, Content, and AI teams while helping launch practical AI solutions that will impact thousands of products across one of Canada’s largest retail organizations.
If you enjoy solving business problems, coordinating cross-functional teams, working with emerging AI technology, and helping bring current digital products to life, we’d love to hear from you. Help coordinate AI and automation initiatives from planning through implementation.
Support
Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release readiness. Track project milestones, risks, action items, and dependencies. Review AI-generated outputs and participate in testing and validation activities.
Analyze project metrics, AI performance, and operational reporting using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools. Coordinate communication between Product, Engineering, Content, and third-party implementation partners. Support business readiness, training,
and adoption activities leading up to project launch. 2–4 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Product Operations, Digital Delivery, or Project Coordination. ~ Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, AI evaluation, or automation projects. ~ Exposure to Agile delivery environments. ~ Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, ClickUp, or similar project management tools. ~ Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. ~ Strong Excel skills and experience creating reports or dashboards. ~ Curiosity about AI, automation, or emerging technologies.
Experience with Product Information Management (PIM), Product Content Management (PCM), DAM, CMS, or similar platforms. Power BI experience.
User Acceptance
Testing (UAT). Change management or training experience. Work with one of Canada’s most visible AI transformation initiatives. Gain hands‑on experience delivering practical AI solutions in a large enterprise environment. Work alongside Product Managers, AI specialists, Engineering teams, and business leaders. Build experience with AI product delivery, automation, and emerging technologies. Opportunity to extend beyond the initial contract as additional AI initiatives move into future phases. #
