The role encompasses overseeing the Research Services unit, where you'll be responsible for managing resources, facilitating funding proposals, and coordinating day-to-day operations.

In collaboration with the Director and diverse academic stakeholders, you'll actively support research initiatives at AU. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong problem-solving skills, financial expertise, and a proactive approach to independent work. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead management of the Research Services unit
- Coordinate internally and externally funded research proposals




- Supervise internal grant allocation and post-award administration
- Support the annual budget development for Research Services
- Collaborate with academic personnel on grant activities

Requirements:

- Master’s degree plus 7+ years in an administrative role
- Demonstrated financial management and budgeting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and research software
- Strong interpersonal skills and oral/written communication
- Understanding of the academic research workplace
