Join Auberge Shalom as a Shelter Caseworker and make a difference! This role focuses on providing vital support services and crisis intervention for women and children experiencing intimate partner violence. Working under the Clinical Supervisor, you'll provide frontline services, including telephone intake, counseling, and resource advocacy for our clients.
You will engage in community outreach, representing Auberge Shalom at events and participating in meaningful initiatives that reflect our commitment to safety and support. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver crisis intervention and supportive counseling
- Conduct intake assessments and facilitate group support
- Participate in community outreach and advocacy initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams and volunteers
- Attend team meetings and contribute to work planning Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
- Experience with crisis intervention and intimate partner violence
- Proficient in case management and problem-solving
- Bilingual in French and English
