If you do not yet have your claims adjuster licence, it's not a problem - we'll take care of your training!

Monday to Friday (35 hours/week) Open current claims over the phone with customers, then ensure the situation is handled immediately. Interview insureds and/or witnesses to gather their accounts of events. Determine whether the claim is covered or not by analyzing the insured's policy details.





Settle claims fairly and equitably, confirm damage amounts and make payments. Claims adjuster licence and successful completion of exams. To obtain your claims adjuster licence, you must have: An attestation of college studies (AEC) in Insurance or a completed CEGEP or bachelor's degree (an exception is possible if you have a high school diploma AND three years of full-time work experience).

Your excellent customer service skills will allow you to reassure and support your customers throughout the claims process. Your analytical skills will enable you to use your judgment and logic when evaluating claims files. You're not afraid of using different computer systems to perform your tasks.

You are bilingual (English-French): For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

Training

Your full-time paid training will give you hands‑on experience in the insurance industry and with Intact's corporate culture. You will be paid, mentored and supported during your exam preparation to obtain your claims adjuster licence.
