About the Role

Our client, a reputable automotive service center in Kimberley , is looking for a specialized Automotive Brake and Suspension Technician to join their team. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the critical braking and suspension systems of a wide variety of vehicles. You will utilize your expertise and specialized tools to ensure vehicles are safe, secure, and provide a smooth ride for our customers, contributing to a workshop renowned for its reliable and high-quality service, ensuring safety on the roads around Kimberley .

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair issues related to vehicle braking systems, including pads, rotors, calipers, and hydraulic lines.
- Perform inspections and repairs on suspension components such as shocks, struts, control arms, and springs.
- Conduct wheel alignment and balancing services to ensure optimal tire wear and vehicle handling.
- Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance for their braking and suspension systems.
- Utilize specialized diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve complex issues.




- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with a specialization in brakes and suspension.
- Strong understanding of anti-lock braking systems (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC), and modern suspension technologies.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment for brake and suspension systems.
- Ability to perform wheel alignments accurately and efficiently.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE Brakes, ASE Suspension & Steering) are highly desirable.
