Azure Solution Architect

Toronto, ON- Hybrid: 2 day a week in office

Long term Contract(6 Months to start with)

We are looking for an experienced Azure Solution Architect to support the design and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

- Design end-to-end solution architectures for cloud-native and hybrid applications.
- Define application, integration, data, and infrastructure architectures.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to delivery teams.
- Design secure, scalable, and resilient solutions using Azure services.
- Collaborate with business, development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor teams.
- Support architecture governance, design reviews, and technology evaluations.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of IT experience with strong solution architecture experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
- Strong knowledge of:





o Azure App Services o Azure API Management (APIM)

o Azure Functions

- Experience with:

o REST APIs o Microservices Architecture o Event-Driven Architecture o Integration Patterns o Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep)
- Robust understanding of:

o Microsoft Entra ID o OAuth2/OIDC o RBAC o Enterprise Security and Governance

Preferred Skills

- Azure AI Foundry exposure
- Azure API Management
- Databricks
- Mobile and Web Application Architecture
- TOGAF or Azure Solution Architect Certification
