Banana Leaf Malaysian Cuisine is seeking a F/T Chef

- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $34.62~$36.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- 4% vacation pay
- Extended health advantages and dental care after 6 months of probation

Job Duties:
- Supervise activities of cooks and other kitchen staff
- Create menus and ensure that food meets quality standards
- Direct food preparation and cooking activities
- Participate in recruiting process
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
- Determine food requirements and estimate costs of supplies and labour
- Maintain the records of inventory, food costs, sales and consumption
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis

Job requirements:
- Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
