Make a difference in children's lives with Waterloo Region District School Board as a Before School Support employee. Guide students in positive social interactions and play-based learning experiences. In this role, you will support children from junior kindergarten through grade 6 in their development while enforcing a secure and inclusive environment.

Collaborate with a Designated Early Childhood Educator to implement programming that encourages exploration and self-regulation. Maintain communication with parents, fostering a supportive community around students’ well-being. Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate inclusive play and learning activities for students
- Support children’s emotional and social growth
- Build positive relationships with families and caregivers
- Monitor compliance with health and safety guidelines
- Promote an anti-racist and inclusive culture

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in child supervision roles
- First Aid and CPR Level C/AED certification
- Satisfactory Criminal Background Check
- Commitment to fostering an equitable learning environment
