As Northern Regional

Manager, you'll play a key role in connecting northern communities by providing hands‑on leadership across our northern operations, supporting frontline teams, and ensuring safe, reliable service throughout the network. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on leading people, solving operational challenges, building strong relationships, and making a meaningful impact in northern aviation.

Reports to: Director of Ground Operations Travel: Frequent travel to northern outstations You will work with station teams, contractors, vendors, airport authorities, local communities, and internal departments to keep the operation moving safely and reliably. Oversee safe and efficient aircraft handling, passenger service, baggage operations, grooming, and ramp activities Monitor operational performance, including on-time performance, delays, baggage handling, staffing, customer service, and overall station reliability Participate in hiring, training, succession planning, and employee development Support compliance with Transport Canada requirements, airport authority requirements, company policies, and Safety Management System standards Resolve escalated operational and customer service matters in a timely, respectful, and skilled way Planning, Reporting & Relationships Monitor staffing levels, overtime, operational expenses, vendor performance, and resource needs Support contract management, operational planning, reports, performance summaries,



and recommendations Maintain positive working relationships with airport authorities, ground service providers, contractors, and local communities Build and maintain strong relationships with northern communities, Indigenous governments, and key stakeholders to strengthen Air North's reputation and support regional growth We are looking for a grounded, safety‑minded leader who understands operational standards, communicates well, and can earn trust across teams and communities. At least 3 years of management or leadership experience Ability to obtain and retain a valid security clearance, radio, and airside driving permits Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or proof of right to work in Canada We are a Yukon-based organization connecting people, communities, and opportunities across the North and Canada.
