About the Opportunity The General Ledger Consultant will manage and execute the entire implementation lifecycle, including planning, discovery, design, and deployment, in addition to project and client management responsibilities, with a focus on General Ledger (GL) requirements.

What You'll Get to Do Manage all aspects of the GL implementation process, including team-oriented consultation with the client, requirements definition, solution design, guided configuration, unit and integration testing, training, and full deployment.

Apply functional and technical expertise to effectively execute requirements.

Partner with client project managers and executives throughout the implementation.

Engage specific client contacts, such as Controllers, Accountants, and Financial Officers, to complete analysis of client-specific GL posting requirements.

Consult and advise clients throughout the implementation process on best practices that maximize value and return on investment.

Collaborate with the project team, internal partners, external clients, and third parties to ensure successful delivery.





Effectively manage multiple projects and clients at the same time with multiple competing priorities and coach others to work effectively.

Skills and Experience We Value Must be fluent in English and French, both written and verbal.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Accounting, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of software implementation experience, with a focus on accounting.

Practical knowledge of accounting and payroll, production environments, and implementation practices.

Problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.

Experience with software in a SaaS/Cloud environment with a focus on HCM.

Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines for multiple clients concurrently.

Proven ability to document requirements, issues, and outcomes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Demonstrated knowledge of SQL, XML, and XSLT.

Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

What Would Make You Stand Out

Experience with Payroll modules within Workday, Ultimate, Lawson, or ADP.
