Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives through thoughtful risk assessment and financial protection? Sun Life is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Underwriter to join our Personal Health Insurance (PHI) team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply critical thinking to risk evaluation while contributing to our Purpose of helping clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.

Conduct individual assessments of insurability for personal health, life and critical illness insurance applications Review complex medical information to determine risk classification Make sound underwriting decisions while adhering to quality and service level standards Provide technical expertise in assessing morbidity and mortality risks Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide. The Base

Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
