Our client is seeking a skilled Bioinformatics Analyst to join their team in Kimberley . This role is essential for supporting various research projects by analyzing complex biological data. You will be responsible for processing next-generation sequencing data, performing statistical analyses, and generating reports to help researchers interpret their findings.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and analyze next-generation sequencing (NGS) data, including whole-genome, exome, and RNA-Seq data.
- Perform statistical analysis of biological data to identify significant trends and correlations.
- Develop and implement bioinformatics pipelines for data analysis.
- Generate clear and informative reports and visualizations of analysis results.
- Collaborate with researchers to define data analysis requirements and interpret findings.
- Maintain and manage bioinformatics databases and software tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biology, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in bioinformatics analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with command-line interfaces and Unix/Linux environments.
