Job Title: Brake Press Operator

Location: Concord, ON

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: Morning Shift (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, overtime as required)

Pay Rate: $20/hr – $28/hr (depending on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating brake press machines to bend and form steel plates while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate brake press machines (Manual & Accupress)

- Perform bending and forming of steel plates

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Set up machines and change dies as required

- Perform layout and measure dimensions on materials

- Conduct pre-start inspections of equipment

- Operate lifting devices when required

- Complete job-related documentation and paperwork

- Follow all safety procedures and report hazards

- Perform additional duties as assigned

Work Setting:





- Manufacturing/plant setting

- Exposure to varying temperatures depending on season

- Noisy and dusty conditions at times

- PPE provided and required

- Overtime may be required based on production needs

Primary Skills:

- Brake Press Operation (Manual & Accupress)

- Blueprint Reading

- Machine Setup & Die Changing

- Metal Fabrication / Steel Bending

Secondary Skills:

- Measurement & Layout Skills

- Experience with lifting equipment

- Safety compliance and awareness

- Basic documentation and reporting

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Brake Press Operator preferred

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
