Elevate building safety and maintenance as the Building Management Supervisor at the Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE). Focus on custodial staffing and facility management across several schools. As the Building Management Supervisor, you will be the vital link for Operations Services within HRCE.

Your role includes supervising a team, performing inspections, and coordinating with maintenance personnel. Your responsibility extends to preparing for emergency drills and ensuring quality assurance standards are met throughout the schools. Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise custodial staff and conduct performance reviews
- Coordinate maintenance tasks and regular inspections
- Plan and execute fire drills and other emergency procedures




- Liaise with HRCE maintenance and external service providers
- Develop best practices for building safety and operations Requirements:
- At least five years of facilities operation or maintenance experience
- Minimum three years of supervisory experience over large teams
- Technical certificate in building operations or equivalent
- Experience in a unionized setting preferred
