The Forklift

Operator operates a forklift and locates, moves, stages, and loads outgoing material on trucks, as well as unloads and moves incoming material from trucks to designated areas according to company procedure. They are also responsible for making sure all in-bound shipments received conform to agreed specifications, by accurately identifying and recording shipments according to the company’s procedure and that all in-bound and out-bound pallets/inventory are tagged correctly. sorting, manually dismantling and disassembling electronics and related equipment in an effective manner while respecting the standards of security and safety. Certified and able to operate a forklift while adhering to all safety protocols.

Safely transport products in bins, bales, cartons, or on skids between workstations, ensuring timely delivery to meet the production schedule. Monitor the production schedule to track material requirements, movements, and deliveries across departments. Load, unload, and relocate materials, ensuring proper stacking, accurate documentation,



and secured loads.

Pre-Use Inspection & Maintenance Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and complete the inspection sheet in eCompliance, ensuring all logs are maintained. Inspect forklifts and other equipment for any issues with brakes, controls, battery, tires, and fluid levels, and report defects immediately. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring materials are stored properly and accessible for retrieval while following safety guidelines and company policies.
