Expected Salary Range : $43.95 - $56.08 Hourly The salary range shown above reflects the expected compensation for this position. The Building System

Technician is responsible for operation, maintenance and troubleshooting on System buildings and equipment. This role involves hands-on work across a variety of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life safety systems.

Hydro reserves the right, in alignment with the applicable collective agreement, to finalize the number of positions filled. Performs general maintenance of buildings and building systems. Participates in the installation, servicing, repair and operation of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems, including AV systems. Maintains building plumbing and drain systems Assists trade and service personnel to maintain various building systems Maintains building and yard electrical equipment Maintains and repairs office furniture, equipment and materials Conducts and or directs work in a manner that is sensitive to customer and public needs Supports Capital Project work Assists with the maintenance of various Life Safety Systems throughout the facilities Maintains stock of building supplies, monitors equipment and maintains records A valid Red Seal certification with a high school diploma or a two (2)



year college diploma with relevant demonstrated practical experience Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and any other applicable legislation Demonstrated proficiency in a PC Windows environment and associated desktop software applications Safety Performance – Complies with safety guidelines Customer Service &
