Reporting to the Manager, Pension Platform Operations, the Co-op Student supports the PPO team with operational administration, testing, documentation, governance, and continuous improvement activities. The role provides hands-on experience supporting pension technology platforms and operational processes while working with business and technology partners.
The student will complete structured assignments that strengthen team capacity, documentation quality, testing support, audit readiness, and operational consistency. The placement is designed to build practical business, operational, analytical, and technical skills in a collaborative environment. Support monitoring operational processes, queues, and work items, and elevate identified issues as required.
Perform data validation, quality checks, production validations, and follow-up activities using established procedures. Maintain and organize SharePoint repositories, process documentation,
knowledge articles, incident workaround documentation, and support materials. Document test results, update Azure DevOps work items, and collect, organize, and maintain supporting evidence.
Identify opportunities to improve documentation, reporting, controls, and team processes. Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program in Business Technology Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently on structured tasks and collaborate effectively with business and technology partners. The expected hourly rate range for this role is $21.00 to $31.00.
