Business Development Representative (Hunter)

Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, Full time-Permanent

Position Overview

Your primary focus will be to identify and secure new clients for our preventative maintenance programs — helping them protect and optimize their building HVAC systems.

We’re looking for a results-driven Outside HVAC Preventative Maintenance Sales Representative to help drive the growth and profitability at Carmichael Engineering.

- Identify, target, and qualify prospective customers through a disciplined, professional sales process.
- Conduct discovery and solution-based sales calls to understand client needs and recommend tailored HVAC service solutions.
- Develop and execute a territory marketing plan; attend industry and networking events to expand business opportunities.
- Represent Carmichael Engineering with professionalism, integrity, and pride while upholding our standards of quality and service excellence.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity tracking.

What We’re Looking For

- Bilingual (English & French speaking)
- Experience selling HVAC Preventative Maintenance Programs an asset
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with commercial or industrial HVAC systems or selling similar intangible services
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Robust value-based and consultative selling skills
- Experience selling intangible or service-based solutions
- Preferred:
- Strong technical acumen and attention to detail
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with recognized sales methodologies and industry standards
- Bonus Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in business, mechanical, or related field
