Playground is an internationally renowned gaming destination located a short 15-minute drive south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. We are currently expanding, unveiling recent gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options. At Playground, our Cage Cashiers are among the best in the industry, providing exceptional service to our guests around the clock, ensuring seamless and secure transactions for our valued customers.

Comprehensive paid training (Must be available for daytime training for 2-4 weeks) Company-wide events Our 24/7 operation requires candidates who can work up to 5 shifts per week, including evenings, overnight, and weekends.

Training Commitment: All candidates must be available for a paid training period of up to 4 weeks, which includes day shifts. Applicants will be asked to complete a math skills test without the use of a calculator or cell phone. Those who succeed will have a criminal and credit check processed.

Once approved, you’ll be scheduled for Cage Cashier School (group training) during regular business hours. Training may last up to 4 weeks. Training is paid at a rate of $16.25 per hour. Handle large amounts of money (accounting for total funds received throughout the day and closing numbers).

Operate any and all office devices (ex. computer, calculators, and money counter machines). Maintain accountability over a cashier drawer and balance it at the end of shift. Perform all duties in a confidential manner, and in compliance with local laws and regulations.

Maintain database (updating customer records and flagging of duplicate accounts).

Consult Internal Control

Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance. Report illegal activity to Security and Surveillance or appropriate levels of Management. Ability to remain standing (and/or sitting) for the majority of shift Flexibility with scheduling (nights, weekends, holidays, special events, and extended hours) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office,

Engagement pour la formation : Tous les candidats doivent être disponibles pour une période de formation rémunérée pouvant aller jusqu’à 4 semaines, incluant des quarts de jour. Une fois approuvé, vous serez inscrit pour la formation de caissiers (formation de groupe) pendant les heures normales de bureau. La formation peut durer jusqu’à 4 semaines. La formation est rémunérée au taux horaire de 16,25 $.

Être âgé(e) d’au moins 18 ans Flexibilité au niveau des horaires (nuits, fins de semaine, jours fériés, événements spéciaux et heures prolongées Connaissance fonctionnelle de Microsoft Office, avec expérience en logiciels ou applications informatiques spécialisés (un atout) Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (oral et écrit)
