The clerkis required todeliver exceptional customer service at all times,ensuring that their workspace is attractive and in good condition at all times. Receive, process, select and merchandise fresh produce, packaged bulk foods, and packaged fruits and vegetables. Build and maintain end cap displays, perimeter displays, seasonal displays, set shelving in accordance with Department Presentation Standards.

Perform

Ordering, cycle counting, temperature checking, and inventory control functions as required. Maintain the rotation, cleanliness, and organization of the stockroom, walk-in cooler, fixtures, equipment, and the departmental sales floor. Minor repairs, hanging signs, washing and cleaning of floors, shelves, windows, cleaning the parking lot, retrieving carts and baskets. and make deposits according to established policies.

Meet productivity standards (sales/hour, entries/minute). Provide exceptional and attentive customer service. Comply with established food safety and hygiene standards. ~ Knowledge of the cash register system is a major asset.
