Role: Capital Markets Support Engineer

Location: Montreal, QC

We are looking for an experienced Capital Markets / Commercial Banking Support Engineer with strong application support, production troubleshooting, SQL, .NET, DevOps, and integration experience.

Key Requirements:

- Experience supporting Commercial Banking applications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business and technology leadership
- Experience working directly with end users to resolve day-to-day operational issues
- Ability to translate functional gaps into technical specifications and development plans
- Strong experience with .NET Framework 4.x, SQL, XML, and Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2019
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL Stored Procedures
- Hands-on experience with DevOps / CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins
- Experience with Windows PowerShell scripting
- Knowledge of Control-M and OBM monitoring
- Robust application integration experience
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience with Change & Incident Management

Nice to Have:

Experience with commercial banking applications, including:

- Loan tracking and automation tools
- Accounting / ledgering systems




- Integration with third-party financial products

Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot and restore system processing during incidents and production issues
- Perform regular system checks, system analysis, and service-level reporting
- Work independently with limited direct supervision
- Maintain governance routines, procedures, and documentation
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvements based on stakeholder feedback and data analysis
- Help drive transformation of existing platforms using modern technologies and tools
- Design architecture and implement high-quality solutions for complex business problems
- Ensure solutions meet integrity, quality, performance, and reliability requirements
- Build automated testing and regression suites using DevOps best practices
- Manage delivery according to agreed timelines and budgetary constraints
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and leadership to software engineers and developers
- Support recruitment and development of high-performing technical teams
