Role Overview

As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will serve as a vital member of the Cardiology team, performing Cardiac Ultrasound and Doppler diagnostic testing while providing exceptional clinical support. This role functions independently with minimal supervision and collaborates closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities Include

- Performing Cardiac Ultrasound and Doppler diagnostic testing
- Obtaining high-quality cardiac imaging studies
- Assisting physicians and healthcare professionals with cardiovascular diagnostic procedures
- Supporting patient care throughout the diagnostic testing process




- Ensuring accuracy and quality of ultrasound examinations
- Maintaining equipment and supporting clinical operations
- Documenting testing results according to departmental standards
- Providing clinical and technical support to the cardiology team
- Functioning independently while maintaining high-quality patient care standards
- Performing other duties as assigned

Required

Qualifications Education

:

- Technical training specializing in Cardiovascular Technology, Sonography, or Ultrasound

Preferred :

- Associate Degree in Science or related field

Experience

Preferred :

- Echocardiography experience

Licensure / Certification

Required

:

- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) within one (1) year of hire OR
- RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) within one (1) year of hire
