The Cardiac Resource
Technologist is primarily responsible for the cardiac diagnostic analysis of Holter tapes. This includes monitoring of tapes for quality and identifying and resolving recorder and specimen related problems.
The Cardiac Resource
Technologist also acts as a technical and diagnostic resource for ECGs and Holters and is involved in cardiac education. Permanent, Casual (between 0 and 37.5 hours per week)
Shift: Variable Shifts Start Date: ASAP Performs accurate cardiac diagnostic analysis of Holter scans Reviews and send out 24hr Ambulatory Blood Pressure reports. Monitors the quality of the scan and recorders and resolves specimen related problems Acts as a technical and diagnostic resource for PSC staff for Holter, AMBP and ECGS.
Assists Cardiac
Resource in monitoring quality assurance for ECG’s Attending meeting (e.g. safety, document control) These tasks may be assigned by the team supervisor and/or be on a voluntary basis. Maintains confidentiality involving any information made available directly or indirectly about clients including physicians, patients, employees and the company. Observes and executes all laboratory safety and security policies and regulations; including location and use of safety equipment, evacuation routes, disposal of contaminated material.
Participant in related team functions (i.e. team meetings, special projects, problem solving and decision making.) 2 years recent experience in hospital, private Cardiac Lab and/ or Holter scanning on a proactive scanning system. ~ Keyboard skills and typing speed of 40 wpm. ~ LifeLabs’ compensation programs are commensurate based on the role, skill, effort, responsibility and working conditions,
