We are working with an established organization in Richmond that is looking to add a Corporate Accountant to its Corporate Finance team. This is a excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to gain broader corporate accounting experience while working alongside an experienced and supportive finance team. The position will provide exposure to accounts payable, full-cycle accounting, intercompany transactions, month-end and quarter-end processes, and financial reporting.

Manage various day-to-day accounting activities, with an initial focus on the accounts payable cycle Review invoices for accuracy,



appropriate coding and required approvals Assist with accounting for transactions between related entities Prepare journal entries and complete balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations Gather and organize financial information used by the corporate team during quarter-end reporting Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation Assist with process improvements and other accounting projects as the role develops Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline Early-career candidates and recent graduates are encouraged to apply Previous AP, accounting or finance experience is an asset, but not required Strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office candidates pursuing their CPA designation are encouraged to apply You'll have the opportunity to build experience across several areas of corporate accounting while working with an established finance team.
