Position Summary

Kensington Dental Clinic in Kensington, PE is looking for a passionate, hard‑working Level 2 Certified Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant on a full‑time basis to join our team. The ideal CDA/RDA values playing a part for the team, equips the dentist through outstanding treatment assistance, and prepares the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.

Schedule

- Monday‑Thursday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
- Some Fridays 7:30 am – 1 pm

Responsibilities

- Greeting patients and setting the room up for their appointment
- Submitting treatment plans
- Communicating with patients in a calm and professional manner
- Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory
- Maintaining accurate files & patient records and ensuring confidentiality
- Making independent decisions, using proper time management, and working effectively as a team member
- Experience with dental practice management software is considered an asset
- Other duties as required

Qualifications

- Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II
- Registered or in process of registering with the Prince Edward Island Dental Council
- New graduates welcome
- Open to those licensed in other Canadian province(s)
- Experience with dental practice management software such as Trackeris considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
