As Chief

Engineer, you will oversee water planning and modelling while ensuring safety compliance and effective collaboration. At Teck, you will play a pivotal role in managing site-wide water resources, reporting directly to the Integrated Planning & Production Superintendent. The position requires a proactive approach to safety leadership and effective communication with stakeholders.

Proven experience in water planning and a solid technical background are crucial for success in this hands-on role. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and develop site-wide water management strategies
- Provide technical oversight and quality control for water modelling
- Ensure compliance through monitoring programs and performance tracking




- Mentor the water planning team and coordinate with teams
- Drive CAPEX and OPEX planning for water resources

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in water resources, civil, or environmental engineering
- 10+ years of experience in water management
- Registered or eligible with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia
- Strong knowledge of regulatory water requirements
- Excellent communication skills and continuous improvement mindset
