About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Child and Youth Care Worker to join their team in Kimberley . In this vital role, you will provide a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for children and young people in need. You will be responsible for their daily care, well-being, and development, implementing individualized care plans and engaging them in constructive activities. Key Responsibilities

- Provide direct care, supervision, and support to children and youth in a residential setting.
- Implement individualized care plans, behavioral interventions, and therapeutic activities.
- Ensure the physical safety, emotional well-being, and developmental progress of residents.
- Document observations, incidents, and progress notes accurately and timely.
- Facilitate group activities,



life skills training, and recreational opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, social workers, and other professionals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and positive living environment.

Requirements

- Relevant qualification in Child and Youth Care Work or Social Auxiliary Work.
- Previous experience working with children or youth in a care setting.
- Strong understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and positive discipline.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to undergo background checks.
