Child Safety- Family Guidance Supervisor Employment Type: Full time (35 hours per week) Under the CFCSA, receives, assesses and processes information related to support, needs, protection, safety and well-being of children and youth. Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely case documentation in required information management systems. Acts as the legal guardian of children in care by assessing the child’s strengths and needs regarding permanency, identity, placement, health, legal, education/social recreational activities and self-care/independence skills.

Ensure department practice aligns with the CSFS policy and practice framework. Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Art in Child and Youth Care. Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in Child and Family Services, including at least 3 years of current experience in child safety.





Supervisory training and experience supervising staff preferred.

Experience working with Indigenous communities and child welfare organizations preferred. Ability to travel regularly.

Wage Range: $48.01 to $62.28 per hour.
