Active Start Childcare is hiring a Childcare Educator for our Preschool and OSC programs in Calgary South East Seton. Focus on creating a stimulating environment for holistic child development. As an Educator, you will be providing nurturing care and managing age-appropriate activities that enhance children's physical, social, and emotional growth.

Solid interpersonal skills and a background in childcare are essential for building positive relationships with children and families. Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure a safe, engaging classroom environment for young learners
- Plan and implement activities for overall child development
- Develop relationships with children, families, and staff
- Document and communicate observations of child progress
- Maintain compliance with health and sanitation regulations

Requirements:

- Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 1, 2, or 3 certification
- Prior experience in licensed childcare preferred
- Current First Aid & CPR Level C certification
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector renewal required
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
