The Intermediate Claims
Adjuster, CGL and Bodily Injury is responsible for oversight and handling of complex long haul trucking (LHT), towing, commercial general liability (CGL) and commercial automobile claims.
Claims are moderate to severe in nature and the successful candidate will have a dynamic personality and the ability to excel in a high performance environment while ensuring claims are properly investigated, evaluated, and resolved in a timely manner. Investigate, evaluate, negotiate claims of varying complexity Maintain control of expenses through pro-active handling techniques Conduct technical audits to monitor quality, activity, reserving and expenses Handle and settle claims within prescribed authority 3-5 years of progressive casualty management claims experience ~ Knowledge of principles and practices in claims settlement, policy wording, fraud investigations and coverage issues ~ Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with strong organizational and time management skills ~ Ability to prioritize and produce quality work with attention to detail and accuracy ~ Post-secondary education completed in a related field Please note that internal applicants are asked to formally express their interest by applying online no later than 10 business days of the position being posted.
