- Provide technical guidance, coaching and management of claims staff
- Support the Claims unit and serve as the first line of conversation for the adjudication team
- Ensure productive and prompt service in the investigation, analysis, and settlement of claims
- Track Key Performance Indicators
- Ensure claims are adjudicated in a timely and accurate manner
- Build and maintain team engagement
- Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic initiatives and new adjudicating methods
Requirements
- Post-Secondary Education, ideally in an Insurance focused program or related program
- Completed or working towards the CIP designation
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the property and casualty industry
- Minimum of 3-5 years of claims leadership/mentorship experience
- Strong adjusting background with in-depth knowledge of CGL and Auto BI
- Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite
- Ability to clearly communicate with Claimants, Brokers, and Legal Counsel
